Who’s looking hot? Who’s not? And who seems to have what it takes to sip an ice cold mimosa on Day 39? It’s time to sift through some Survivor resumes!

Survivor day has rolled around once again and at TTHS we can’t wait for another slice of Ghost Island pie! Each Wednesday I’ll be updating the resumes of the remaining castaways and ranking their chances of success in order from most likely to win, to most likely to get the boot. Last week saw the unfortunate demise of both Gonzalez and Jacob, netting me a respectable score of 28 out of a possible 39 points. However, this week the task becomes a little bit trickier thanks to Jeff’s announcement that he’ll be switching up the tribes… With such an evenly matched cast it is truly anyone’s game! I hope you enjoy tonight’s ep! I’ll be back on Friday to present my detailed recap and analysis. Happy Survivoring until then!

The BOOT LIST: Week 2

Survivor Ghost Island Cast Preview   Wendell          1

Last Week: 6th
Primary Allies: Undefined – but he has been seen strategising with both Domenick and Bradley.
Resume: Strong social game, great shelter building skills, strategically open, compelling secret ex-lawyer-turned-dreamchaser backstory.
Comment: Wendell is a smooth operator who demonstrated his socio-strategic potential last week by subtly planting a seed in Sebastian’s mind to consider others before voting out Domenick. I like him a lot!

Survivor Ghost Island Cast Preview   Kellyn           2

Last Week: 2nd
Primary Allies: Undefined.
Resume: Scored the first confessional of the season.
Comment: Kellyn and her empathetic ‘superpower’ are yet to be tested, but the early signs are there to suggest that she’ll be a major player later on in the season.

   Brendan        3

Last Week: 1st
Primary Allies: Michael and Libby, plus Jenna and Steph for now.
Resume: Leader of the tribe, superficially in control, perceptive of the potential to be betrayed by Stephanie J.
Comment: As expected, Brendan has adopted the old school leader position at Malolo, but impressively he’s managing to do it in a generally likeable and non-threatening manner. He’s got the skills to win but will need to play from the front for the entire game to do so. Chance.

Survivor Ghost Island Cast Preview   Desiree          4

Last Week: 3rd
Primary Allies: Undefined.
Resume: Homeless backstory.
Comment: Desiree had barely any screen time last week, but she seems cool so I’m happy to stick with my preseason assessment for now.

Survivor Ghost Island Cast Preview   Libby            5

Last Week: 7th
Primary Allies: Michael and Brendan; Jenna and Stephanie; potentially Donathan.
Resume: Involved in almost every single conversation as an active listener, nicely shielded behind two alpha males.
Comment: Libby wasn’t heavily featured last week despite Malolo enduring back to back tribals, but I think she’s going to be sticking around for a long time yet. She’s non threatening, beautifully shielded, and will be able to make new friends with ease following the tribe swap.

Survivor Ghost Island Cast Preview   Morgan           6

Last Week: 14th
Primary Allies: Undefined.
Resume: Friendly, under the radar strategy, gifted Jacob’s legacy advantage (which Steph now knows about).
Comment: The dolphin trainer is the big climber this week – she comes across as super friendly and non-threatening which makes her a highly attractive potential ally. Her biggest challenges will be navigating the curse of the legacy advantage and Stephanie’s knowledge of its existence – if she plays her cards right she has the potential to go far.

Survivor Ghost Island Cast Preview   Chelsea          7

Last Week: 4th
Primary Allies: Undefined.
Resume: A blank canvas.
Comment: Did Chelsea get cut from the cast at the last minute? I don’t think I spotted her once last week… As long as she remains invisible to the camera, she won’t be going home anytime soon.

Survivor Ghost Island Cast Preview   Jenna            8

Last Week: 13th
Primary Allies: Steph plus Brendan/Michael/Libby or James/Laurel/Donathan.
Resume: Nestled behind Steph in the secondary swing vote position.
Comment: Jenna is perfectly placed within her tribe at the moment, but probably not for long due to the impending tribe swap. I’m starting to get a bit of a Sophie vibe from her though which spells massive DANGER. One to watch.

Survivor Ghost Island Cast Preview   James            9

Last Week: 8th
Primary Allies: Laurel and Donathan plus a pick of anyone else.
Resume: Kind, loyal, committed to the tribe.
Negatives: Choked in the last challenge.
Comment:
I love James – I just hope he’ll be able to forgive himself for ‘failing’ as an athlete last week. Should be safe for now.

Survivor Ghost Island Cast Preview   Sebastian        10

Last Week: 9th
Primary Allies: Chris, potentially Wendell, others undefined.
Resume: The provider and ultimate bro.
Comment: Sebastian’s at no risk of going home this week, but could eventually go down as collateral in the impending Chris vs Domenick duel.

Survivor Ghost Island Cast Preview   Michael          11

Last Week: 10th
Primary Allies: Brendan and Libby.
Resume: Challenge strength, secretly being 18 years old.
Comment: I like what I’ve seen so far from the baby of the cast. He’s perceptive and well spoken, but has unfortunatley already had his name thrown around as a potential blindside option. The run to the merge is going to be fraught with danger. Back with caution.

Survivor Ghost Island Cast Preview   Bradley          12

Last Week: 17th
Primary Allies: Possibly Domenick and Wendell.
Resume: Non offensive to date.
Comment: I have nothing positive or negative to say about Bradley at this stage – so he should be safe for at least another week.

Survivor Ghost Island Cast Preview   Domenick         13

Last Week: 15th
Primary Allies: Wendell.
Resume: Found Andrea’s hidden immunity idol in the dark, revealed semi-fake one to Chris.
Negatives: Terrible jump from the gates – set himself up to be an early target.
Comment: With an idol in his pocket and Wendell watching his back, Domenick should be safe this week – but he’s just the sort of player who’ll still find a way to get voted out… It would be incredible to see the curse of the misplayed idol prevail.

Remove term: Cast Preview Cast PreviewRemove term: Jeff Probst Jeff ProbstRemove term: Survivor SurvivorRemove term: Survivor 36 Survivor 36Remove term: Survivor Cast Survivor CastRemove term: Survivor Ghost Island Survivor Ghost Island   Donathan         14

Last Week: 5th
Primary Allies: James and Laurel plus basically everyone.
Resume: Compelling character, one of the main narrators, strategically underestimated, deflected the first vote onto Gonzalez.
Comment: The ‘hillbilly butterfly’ is the biggest drifter this week – but not because he’s doing anything wrong… In fact his resume is actually one of the strongest in the game to date. However, his weakness in challenges will ensure that his name continues to get tossed around for the next few votes at least. If he can survive those, Donathan will become a major threat to win this game.

Survivor Ghost Island Cast Preview   Laurel            15

Last Week: 11th
Primary Allies: James and Donathan.
Resume: Challenge strength.
Comment: Laurel just seems to be lurking around the fringe of her tribe at the moment – I think she has the potential to do well, but needs to take the opportunity of a switched tribe to boost her social standing.

Survivor Ghost Island Cast Preview   Stephanie J   16

Last Week: 19th
Primary Allies: Jenna – but also in bed with everyone else.
Resume: Flirtatious manipulator, milked Jacob before voting him out, only person to know about Morgan’s legacy advantage, key player in keeping Donathan around at the first vote, primary swing position.
Comment: Stripy Stephanie had some fantastic moments in the first week but her work has not gone unnoticed… Brendan is now highly suspicious of her motives so she may be targeted as a major threat in the near future.

Survivor Ghost Island Cast Preview   Chris            17

Last Week: 20th
Primary Allies: Sebastian.
Resume: Made the captain’s call to forfeit the first challenge in order to save the fishing gear, is in a power bro couple with Sebastian, and is rightfully suspicious of Domenick’s (fake) idol.
Comment: I actually think I’m starting to really like Chris, but due to Domenick’s idol there’s a high chance he’ll come out second best in the upcoming duel (if it even eventuates). Best case scenario for him at the moment would be ending up on a new tribe with Sebastian.

Survivor Ghost Island Cast Preview   Angela           18

Last Week: 18th
Primary Allies: Invisible.
Resume: First person to sit out a challenge for the season – other than that she has not been seen.
Comment: Angela seems to be taking the theme of this season way too literally by playing her game as an actual ghost. Her absence from the premiere combined with a featured snippet in one of the weekly promos has me thinking that the oldest cast member is about to get the boot.
